OnePlus Nord 3 5G vs iQoo Neo 9 Pro 5G Highlights
This was yet another smartphone knockout series involving prominent brands Indian consumers love. Although the OnePlus Nord 3 5G is somewhat older than the iQoo Neo 9 Pro 5G it still gave a neck-to-neck competition to the latter. Both the models come in two color variants and come under the mid-range pricing, and here is our analysis for the same:-
- When it comes to the first specification which is the processor then both the models come with an octa-core processor. OnePlus Nord 3 5G is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and the Neo 9 Pro has a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. And when we compare both these chipsets, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is a better and more powerful chipset than the MediaTek 9000, which comes in OnePlus handsets (for a full report on the difference between both of these chipsets click here). So iQoo Neo 9 Pro 5G takes the lead. - Coming on the display then the Neo 9 Pro takes the lead on this specification with an LTPO AMOLED display offering 3000 nits of peak brightness. On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord 3 comes with 1450 nits of peak brightness with FLUID AMOLED which offers a lower refresh rate making it inferior to the LTPO. (for a detailed difference between both the displays please click here)
- Talking about the Rear and Front cameras then the OnePlus Nord 3 5G is a better option compared to the Neo 9 Pro as the former comes with a set of triple cameras with the primary one being 50 Megapixels and the front one having 16 Megapixels camera.
- Now coming to the battery then both the models have a non-removable battery but the iQoo Neo 9 Pro 5G has a somewhat bigger battery of 5160 mAh compared to the 5000 mAh of that of the OnePlus Nord 3. So if you are looking for a longer battery life then Neo 9 Pro is a better option.
- The price of any handset is the most essential specification, especially for our price-sensitive Indian users and in that case, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G has an edge over the iQoo Neo 9 Pro 5G as the former comes in two storage variants of 8GB+128GB and 16GB+256GB costing RS 28,999 and RS 37,999 respectively. But the iQoo Neo 9 Pro comes in three storage variants which are slightly to the expensive side, the variants available in Neo 9 Pro are 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB with each of them having a price tag of RS 34,999, RS 36,999 and RS 38,999 respectively.
So this was our analysis and observations for the smartphone knockout series of OnePlus Nord 3 5G vs iQoo Neo 9 Pro 5G and we come to a conclusion that if you are ready to spend some extra bucks then the iQoo Neo 9 Pro 5G is a better option over the OnePlus Nord 3 giving you a powerful processor with a decent dual rear camera, an amazing display and a longer battery life with two color variants.
And if you have a tight budget but still want a handset that is decently powerful and has a triple set of cameras at a much reasonable cost then the OnePlus Nord 3 5G is a go-to option for you.
