Key Features
The Scorpio N Z8 S introduces a unique Midnight Black color, enhancing the SUV’s bold aesthetic. While inheriting design elements from higher-end variants, such as LED headlights and tail lamps, the Z8 S also boasts dual-tone alloys. Notable features include an 8-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch multi-info display, sunroof, six airbags, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. However, it misses out on certain features present in higher trims, such as push-button start, electronically folding ORVMs, auto headlamps & wipers, dual-zone climate control, front camera, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, 6-way powered driver’s seats, and driver drowsiness detection.
Under the hood, the Scorpio N Z8 S offers two engine options: a 2-liter turbo-petrol engine generating 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque, and a 2.2-liter diesel engine producing 175 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Notably, the Z8 S variant does not include a four-wheel-drive system, which is available in the Z8 variant.
The Scorpio N serves as a body-on-frame SUV alternative to mid-size SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and MG Hector, as well as compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
