Aprilia Introduces the RS457 Bike in the UK
Aprilia has recently unveiled its latest offering, the Aprilia RS457, in the UK market. Manufactured in India and priced at around Rs 6.8 lakh, this bike brings a new option to the segment, particularly for A2 license holders in the UK.
The Aprilia RS457 enters the arena to compete with established models like the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the Yamaha YZF-R3. With its arrival, riders holding an A2 license in the UK now have a broader range of choices. Despite its anticipated popularity, it’s worth noting that the Aprilia RS457 comes with a higher price tag compared to many of its rivals. The Yamaha YZF-R3 is only slightly more expensive than the RS457.

Under the hood, the RS457 is powered by a 457cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine featuring liquid cooling. This robust motor churns out close to 47bhp and 43.5Nm of peak torque, paired with a smooth six-speed gearbox equipped with a slip and assist clutch. Riders also have the option of adding a bi-directional quick-shifter for enhanced convenience.
The RS457 boasts 17-inch wheels supported by upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock with preload adjustability at the rear. Braking duties are efficiently managed by single-disc brakes at both ends, equipped with dual-channel ABS for added safety. Moreover, the bike comes with full LED lighting and a five-inch TFT display, allowing riders to effortlessly navigate through various rider aids, including engine maps, traction control, ABS settings, an anti-roll system, and three distinct riding modes.
