Nothing Phone 2a India Launch
The handset maker Nothing is all set to launch the Nothing 2a in India on March 5. While not a flagship device, it’s said to be an upgrade from the Nothing Phone 1, the company’s first handset, which was released in July 2022. The design and features of the Nothing 2a are still under wraps by the UK-based OEM, but leaks and reports have given some hints. According to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by noted tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), the Nothing Phone 2a might be priced at Rs 30,000 in India. The Twitter handle also mentioned the possibility of a limited release in the US, with an expected price of $400 (approximately Rs 33,200). Additionally, leaked design renders have surfaced online recently, while a tipster has provided insights into specifications and potential pricing for the Indian market.
The global launch of the Nothing Phone 2a is scheduled for March 5 at 11:30 GMT (which translates to 5:00 PM IST in India). However, it’s still uncertain whether the Nothing 2a will have the Glyph interface on its rear panel. The global launch announcement was followed by a dedicated post on Nothing’s India X account, confirming the launch in the country.
Nothing Phone 2a Expected Specs, Features, More
Unlike its predecessors, the Nothing Phone 2a appears to have a transparent rear panel, departing from the customizable LED array of the Glyph interface. Moreover, the camera layout on the Nothing 2a is different from its predecessors, featuring two vertically arranged lenses in the top-left corner, accompanied by Nothing branding and regulatory icons at the bottom.
Adding to the excitement, the Nothing Phone 2a has recently obtained NBTC certification, as revealed by reputable tipster Mukul Sharma, indicating an imminent launch.
Exclusive to Flipkart in India, the smartphone is expected to inherit and enhance upon the features of last year’s Nothing Phone 2, promising an elevated user experience compared to its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 1.
